La Pérouse joint maritime exercise will be held between the naval forces of the Quad individuals in the Bay of Bengal from April 5-7, 2021. The activity will be an instructional course between the naval forces of France and the QUAD individuals India, Japan, Australia and the United States. French warships have effectively shown up in Kochi in front of the activity. During the joint exercise, two French Navy boats will be joined by ships from India, Australia, Japan, and the US for a solid show of multilateralism adrift and their obligation to a free and open Indo-Pacific.
