Highlights

·       RINL, the Rastriya Ispat Nigam Limited takes up several activities during the Iconic Week (4th to 10th July, 2022 ) being observed by Ministry of Steel starting from 4th to 10th July, 2022 as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations.

·       A seminar on “Increasing Steel Consumption: Steel Usage Way Forward” was organized by INSDAG under the aegis of RINL.

·       The program was streamed live at HRD Centre, RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. It focused primarily on the production/consumption of steel, reasons for low consumption of steel in India, and steps taken to improve steel consumption and rural initiatives and other activities of INSDAG.

India Stack Knowledge Exchange 2022

As part of the ongoing Digital India Week 2022 celebrations, the 3-days long virtual event on India Stack Knowledge Exchange kick started on 7^th July 2022.

Why is it in news?

The Digital India Week showcases India’s Digital Products and Services in sectors of Health, Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Financial Inclusion, Digital Identity, Data Empowerment and Good Governance.

Highlights

·       A virtual event bringing together more than 5000 participants from 53 countries for knowledge exchange, thematic sessions articulated by pioneers of Digital Transformation in India

·       The event is an opportunity to showcase India’s most significant contribution to the Digital world - the India Stack, which is a unified software platform to bring India’s 1.4 billion population into the Digital Age.

·       Indiastack.global was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 4^th July 2022, and is a single repository of all major projects on India Stack.
