National and International Current Affairs of 11th January 2024

1.           National Human Trafficking Awareness Day (January 11, 2024): Recognizes the need to address human trafficking globally and end the suffering of victims. Highlights the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000.

2.           Republic Day Pact:  The Defence Ministry proposes a plan allowing states to showcase their tableaux every three years to ensure fair representation in the Republic Day parade.

3.           India-Nepal Agreements:  India and Nepal sign agreements on renewable energy, power, space, technology, and High Impact Community Development Projects. Nepal also signs a long-term power deal with India.
