Modi has lauded the efforts of tiger conservationists on the occasion of
International Tiger Day
The Prime Minister tweeted;
“On International Tiger Day, I laud
all those who are actively working to protect the tiger. It would make you
proud that India has 52 tiger reserves covering over 75,000 sq. km. Innovative
measures are being undertaken to involve local communities in tiger
protection.”

for fixation of pension were issued.

Hon’ble Supreme Court vide its order
dated 16.03.2022 directed that in terms of the communication dated 7th November
2015, a re-fixation exercise shall be carried out from 1st July 2019, upon the
expiry of five years.

Revision of pension under OROP with
effect from 01.07.2019 is under process.

Government has taken measures to de-stress and upgrade the capabilities of the
soldiers and officers serving in the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Highlights
A number of provisions are
undertaken to de-stress and upgrade the capabilities of soldiers and officers
serving in the Army, Navy and Air Force as specified below:

The
training schedule for the soldiers and officers, apart from the
pre-commissioning for officers, is conducted as per a well-planned schedule.
The schedule gradually exposes the trainees to progressive levels of stress. It
helps them to undertake various responsibilities in the future in an efficient
manner.

The
major training and administrative events are planned annually. It helps ensure
stability and predictability concerning the commitments of personnel.
·
Regular
interaction, monitoring & screening of personnel by means of formal &
informal Station level
·
Mechanism
for redressal of grievances interaction during routine activities, interviews
and Sainik sammelans at Unit, Formation and Formation and Station levels
·
Provision
of psychological counsellors and medical facilities for personnel in need
